Getting to a rental office is often the most tiring part of renting a car. With 888 Car Rentals you don't have to: we bring the car to you — to your home, your hotel or wherever you are staying in Athens — with no credit card and no deposit.
How delivery works
- Book your car online, or contact us on WhatsApp or by phone at +30 694 709 2541.
- Tell us the address and the time you want the car.
- We confirm the details with you and bring the car to the agreed place.
- You check the car, complete the paperwork and drive away.
Every booking is a little different, so we arrange delivery directly with you. The quickest way is a WhatsApp message with your address, your dates and the car you would like.
Any delivery fee is shown during booking when you choose the pickup location, so you see the full price before you confirm.
We also deliver to Athens International Airport and the Port of Piraeus.
What to have ready
- Tourists and visitors: passport, your home-country driving licence, and an International Driving Permit (IDP) if your licence was issued outside the EU.
- Greek residents: ID card or passport and a Greek driving licence.
- Every driver needs a valid licence issued at least one year ago.
No credit card is required. Payment is made in advance, in cash or by card.
Fuel and return
- Return the car with the same fuel level as at pickup. Less fuel is charged, and there is no refund for extra fuel.
- You choose your drop-off point when you book, just like the delivery point.
- A delay of 2 hours counts as one full day's rental, so tell us early if your plans change.
- The car must be returned clean and without damage; a €15 cleaning fee applies if needed.

What is the fuel policy?
Return the vehicle with the same fuel level as at pickup. Less fuel will be charged; no refund for extra fuel.
What happens if I return the car late?
A delay of 2 hours equals one full day's rental cost. The minimum additional charge is one day's rental, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
In what condition must I return the car?
The vehicle must be returned clean and without damage. A €15 cleaning fee applies if needed. If there's evidence of smoking or excessive dirt requiring deep cleaning, a bio-cleaning fee of €150 applies.
What driver's license do I need?
A valid driver's license issued at least one year ago. Citizens of non-EU countries must also have a valid international driver's license.
